A project-based, end-to-end build course. Ship a real AI-powered web app to production over a weekend using the same dev workflow AiTearoa uses every day: VS Code, Cursor, Claude Code, Next.js, Supabase, and Fly.io. By Sunday night you'll have a deployed product you can actually use.
This course is the opposite of theory. There is no "AI fundamentals" chapter. You will write code starting in lesson 2.
We build one app together, end to end. By the end you'll have:
- A working AI web app deployed at your own URL - A modern dev workflow (VS Code + Cursor + Claude Code) that you can use for everything after - Hands-on experience with the same stack we use for paid customer engagements - A repo and a deployment you can point a hiring manager or a customer at
It's designed to be completed across a single weekend with focused effort. The app we build is opinionated — a voice-memo-to-summary tool — chosen because it's genuinely useful and demonstrates the patterns that show up in every AI build.
**Heads up — this is the real stack.** We use TypeScript, Next.js App Router, Supabase Auth + Postgres, Anthropic's API for Claude, Deepgram for transcription, Tailwind for UI, and Fly.io for deployment. If you're comfortable in any of those, you'll fly through. If you're new, we go slow.

Prerequisites
Comfortable with Git, command line basics, and writing functions in JS/TS. A laptop, VS Code installed, GitHub account, and credit cards (for Supabase free tier and Anthropic API — combined cost for completing the course is under NZD 5).
